Draft season is approaching, so let's take a look at who I think we should get. Keep in mind, I actually think these picks are realistic and not out of the realm.

Round 1 - Malik Hooker

Round 2 - Patrick Mahomes

Solid pick in Hooker.

Not sure if Anthony Walker makes in to the 3rd. Better take him in the 2nd.

Hooker is a flat out baller and should be there at 13 he's considered the 2nd best safety in this draft Adams from LSU will go in the top 5-7 range both are just insane though.

Hooker is a ball hawk you add him to our defense with this new pass rush we could go from really good to great on D

I love the first two picks - we could screw it up with the rest of the picks with kids from SW Montana State and Bayone County University and I would still be happy

Can we live with the 24th ranked CB? thought that was a bigger priority.

OP, can you put their positions under or above the vids so people who don't follow college ball know what position they play?

id be okay with that draft --

i do really like the Witherspoon kid at CB for Colorado

watching the Mahomes vid --

1. Watch the throws when he knows he has to rip one: the ball in on a line for 30 yards
2. Watch how he sets his feet to throw when he improvises --

my best historical NFL comp -- Jake Plummer, but with a cannon for an arm. the good and the bad

Okay with this draft but prefer to get a top CB in Round 1 unless ARZ can sign one in FA then I'd be fine with Hooker in Round 1. Love the Mahomes pick (could be this year's Dak Prescott).

Definitely has a strong arm. At the 3:10 mark he throws 50 yards with only 1 foot touching the ground. It was all arm.

I am with you here. A good enough CB in FA would cost way too much. Draft pick would be cheaper. We have our own FAs to sign and limited $$. Will be interesting to see what happens with our FAs in the secondary.

I don't agree with this. Until last year, we've been doing fine filling that CB slot opposite PP in FA. I'd rather see us do that then have to burn our top pick on the position.
