I agree with what Pereira said on tv, I THINK the ball hit the ground but the call was INT and the replay was inconclusive so by technical rule, right call.

Important because I think the call on the blocked XP was wrong too but by technical rule apparently right.

And while I'm at it, the KO return by Baldwin Jaron Brown is running right at him when he gets grabbed and spun sideways, so if that's not called I don't feel too bad about the ruling on the INT. They call the penalty there and Seattle has to go about 35 yards farther to take the lead initially.

I mentioned that in the game thread as well, saw Brown get manhandled on that play and that is what usually happens on a big return...somebody did something illegal on a block and it was clear but then again I had a TV angle forward. As a whole, I still want to bring up how poor our blocking is on our own returns...

2nd "call" we've gotten in 46+ years...

(The other being Mel Gray's NON-TD catch against the Redskins.)

SO, I CAN LIVE WITH IT! :)

Seriously, though...WE DESERVED THE WIN!

There's no guarantee that the Seahawks would've gotten it into endzone anyways.

On the extra point, Pereira was careful with his words on the broadcast -- basically saying that technically it might be right, but that he hoped such a technical call wouldn't have been made in that situation.

On the Int -- it's one of those deals where you think that it's likely that some small portion of the ball likely hit the ground -- but you watch the replay, and you see it most of the ball hit his arm and can't can't see where the rest hits.

The biggest unspoken thing about instant replay is that when you get the "C" team for the networks, you don't get as good replays/as many angles as the top matchups get. It's kind of a shame, but at least that worked in our favor this time.

It was clearly the right call. The ball probably hit the ground but that wasn't the initial call and the review wasn't conclusive to overturn. That fact won't stop a bunch of delusional hypocrites from crying about it in the Northwest.

It's about time we had calls go in our direction. I'm beginning to think we are no longer considered "The Losers".

I thought today's game was the best officiated game the Cardinals have been in in a long time. Only questionable call was the hold on Washington but it wasn't a terrible call.

The penalty on the Extra Point block was technically the right call and same with the pic deflection at the end. There wasn't any clear evidence that it hit the ground.

Refs did a good job today.

What about the fumble they called in favor of Seattle? Looked like a drop to me.

Mendy's no-fumble was indeed a fumble...
That's really the only call I would say was clear enough to over-rule. The Dansby pick - no way you can determine if that ball hit the ground. But that Mendy fumble? Yea, he coughed it up and the Cards finally got a gigantic break from the refs!!

One view: arm down and can't see ball
Other view: ball loose and can't see other arm

Inconclusive = no fumble

One thing not mentioned was Sherman patting Floyd on the helmet after the offensive PI call. How is this not taunting after what has been called on us.

Some calls went our way but I saw numerous holds not called when we were going after Wilson.

They both appeared to be joking around. Floyd was laughing after the call as if he was saying, "yeah, I got caught."

That was the same thing IMO. I think he did fumble, but none of the replays were conclusive so by rule call stands.

And again, Mendy had a nice game but he scares the living daylights out of me which is why Stepfan Taylor was in at the end and ran right through a tackle to get a first down and ice the game. Arians knew that Taylor has a rep for not fumbling.
