Cardinal
All Star
Freak.
How does his game tape look though? Did he dominate?
I bet he won’t even be the best WR to come out of Ole Miss this draft. AJ Brown’s film is much better than DK’s.
The only routes that DK ran were a 9 or fade

Meaningless. How has being mentored by Fitz helped Chad Williams?Harry being mentored by Larry for one year would be huge!
Two Arizona WRs (Harry and Kirk) being taught by an Arizona legend.
I kind of agree. But you could say he helped develop Steve Breaston into a serviceable WR. As well as Andre Roberts. Neither stars but had decent careers compared to what was expected of them. One could even say he had an impact on John Brown when he was actually healthy and able to play.Meaningless. How has being mentored by Fitz helped Chad Williams?
I see very little evidence that Fitz is much of a teacher or mentor.

Don't forget about Floyd pre alcohol.

I firmly believe Q helped Larry's career as well. Sure Larry was already great before coming to AZ, but some knocks on him coming out of the draft was his speed and physicality. Well you can't really teach speed, but certainly Q's toughness was contagious. Larry turned into one of the most physical WRs in the league.

Debbie Downer. Who pissed in your Cheerios LOL.
"When the student is ready the teacher will appear"
That is more of a commentary on Chad Williams vice Fitz...
Don't forget about Floyd pre alcohol.
What evidence do you really have to support this other than you like Fitz and don’t like Williams?
Yes. Fitz was deeply invested in Floyd’s success and didn’t do anything to help him get better, including off the field stuff like dealing with the media.
I dunno Floyd was projected to be a star and an overall stud as an NFL WR.. His draft status warranted the hype to. He had one good season really so I can’t really say that with his natural talent and ability that Futz helped elevate his game any??
It's a matter of supply and demand. Cards faced the off-season needing more explosion and physicality from the WR position. Harry (a local hero) seemed to be low-hanging fruitNo one wanted him last week, now people want him. Things change fast and I wouldn’t trade up for him. Larry, Christian Kirk, Harry, and a late round speedster would make me very happy. Sit and wait and see what happens. He just might be there in round 2. Bosa and Harry as Best Player available in round 1 and 2 would be a dream come true

Here we are - after a new coaching staff and offensive philosophy and halfway thru the combine - and there appear to be at least a dozen big, dominant receivers who can bring it.
No knock on Harry - it's just that there are more options. (it wouldn't surprise me if Metcalf was off the board in the top10.
Metcalf is fools gold. Workout warrior
He produced when targeted.

I LOVED Steve Breaston. Dude wasn't that big but would always take the big hit and hang onto the ball. Seriously underrated hands, and one of my all time favorite Cardinals.I kind of agree. Metcalf
2016
2 receptions 13 yards
2017
39 receptions 649 yards
2018
26 receptions 569 yards
Harry
2016
58 receptions 659 yards
2017
82 receptions 1142 yards
2018
73 receptions 1088 yards
We have seen a million guys look amazing and blow up the combine but chances are if you didn’t produce in college your not gonna produce in the pros.
AJ Brown ran about two routes at Ole Miss too. Same for Damarkus Lodge. Ole Miss' OC is awful. AJ Brown legit rarely faced pressed man in the slot, too. When he did, he struggled mightly.I bet he won’t even be the best WR to come out of Ole Miss this draft. AJ Brown’s film is much better than DK’s.

My evidence is anecdotal, just like yours (since neither one of us are on the team)...
I thought this article was pretty enlightening, especially considering the subject:
https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/michael-floyd-cardinals-larry-fitzgerald
this was interesting as well:
http://www.espn.com/blog/nfcwest/po...fluenced-by-larry-fitzgerald-on-off-the-field
But yeah... you are right, I am biased towards the 15-year pro, who is a first ballot HOF'er over a 3rd round project who has shown ZERO development, DESPITE having the one of the greatest "professional's professional" to model yourself after...
Fitz has been exceptional on and off the field on playoff teams, during the worst of times and everything in-between...
There are very few players that I would find worthy of praise that sounds hyperbolic, LF is that guy...
ESPN article from 2015 said:One of the most important lesson Fitzgerald learned is how to present himself for the media.
"Like after the game ... make sure you're fully dressed because the public never sees you besides with your helmet on when they're watching," Fitzgerald said. "The only time they get to talk to you is when you're addressing the media. Be sharp, be buttoned up. Somebody might be home, some CEO of a company (might) say, 'You know what man? Not only is he a great football player, but he's well dressed, he's well spoken, I want him to serve as a sponsor for my company.' You never know.
"Things like that, I just try to talk to him about."
