I saw this movie today and sort of liked it but really didn't think it was all that funny. Jared Hess should stick to films that are less mainstream. You'd have to be under 12 to really like this movie.

I gave it a B-

It was different and very funny at times. At other times the pacing dragged a bit. In retrospect definitely worth matinee admission and somewhat worth full price.

My buddies liked it more than I did.

My almost 7 year old can't stop begging to go see this. I'm just not sure how appropriate it is for her. Any input from those that have seen it? I think I'll be going to www.screenit.com and find out more details about it.

There is cartoony violence. There is no sex and very little innuendo. There were some small kids in front of us and they were laughing loudly and enjoyed the movie.

 Thanks Chris! I'll probably take the kiddos this week sometime. Youngest's bday is this week and she said she wants to go see Nacho Libre and then have lunch at Chuck-e-Cheese afterwards. Yippy. :|

I am gonna see it... I have a feeling it will be like Ron Burgundy insofar as the first time you see it, it really did not see too great...But, the more you watch it, the better it becomes; and the funnier it becomes.

I will probably take my little brother to this Monday. I hope it's better than I'm expecting.

Prolly a rental for me (as most flicks are these days), but I'm looking forward to it.

I have a mexican wrestling mask that my pal dared me to wear to the movie. Getting their really early and just sitting there with it on as people filed in. I ultimately decided against it, but a couple of years ago that would have been a done-deal.

Funny, funny movie. Not nearly as good as Napoleon Dynamite, but in the same vein. It should be; it was written and directed by the same guy, Jared Hess, who wrote and directed ND.

With thistype of movie, I think you have to go in with the mindset that it is supposed to be a little Campy...

I was very entertained by the movie, though flat in some areas, it was --overall--very enjoyable.

I think El Skeleto stole a lot of scenes in this movie.

I seem to have very similiar movie tastes to Shane H.....so he's ascended to like Ebert Status with me. If he says no see, I no see.

Plus, I don't like goofy movies.

Saw it last it last night. It was pretty lame. A few funny parts, but there wasn't many memorable lines that make it funny or quoteable.

Well, I went and saw it, and it was better than I thought. Of course I thought it was going to be a kick in the groin....it was merely a punch in the stomach.

I give it a C-. It seemed like it tried to do things that were done in Napoleon Dynamite....it just didn't get pulled off.

There were a couple of people with really annoying laughs behind me....I had to get up out of my seat a couple times to get away from it.

The movie sucked...so to pass the time and enjoy the air conditioning we bellowed out some real annoying laughs.

It was okay. Nothing too special. I laughed a few times and it wasn't that bad. My little brother liked it and I went to Red Robins after so I'm okay with it. :)

I just watched it. This was one of the dumbest movies I’ve seen in a while. However, of course my two boys thought it was hilarious (mostly the wrestling scenes.) The girl that played Sister Encarnacion was very pretty though. This and Envy are definitely my least favorite Jack Black movies.
