I have not used my Nano in a few months so I went to use it and it did not turn on. I went to recharge it(USB cable to computer) but the only thing I got was a picture of the battery being low. Now I don't even get that. I can't get anything to work. Has this happened to anyone and if so, how did you fix it?

I have a 30 gig I-Pod and it froze on me last week. I went to the Apple site and followed the instructions there - which were:

connect the I-Pod to your computer via a USB.
place the I-Pod on a flat surface.
Simultaneously press the menu button and the center control and hold it for a few seconds.
The apple logo should then appear in the window and you should be good to go...

Worked for me...
