Actually if he is going to do an action film, this is the film I prefer him in. See him run around as a revenge filled vigilante is old.

Considering the pedigree of all involved, I'm curious why everyone is hating on it. It was originally a Tony Scott idea/film, and we know how good his last submarine thriller was...

Clint Eastwood is against sexual assaults but that didn't stop him from making a few bucks by raping a girl in High Plains Drifter. Robert Shaw was a British patriot that grew up during WWII but that didn't stop him from playing a Nazi in multiple movies. Charlton Heston doesn't like talking apes but that didn't stop him from starring in P of the A. Rupert Holmes wrote a song about Pina Coladas and he also wrote a song about cannibalism but he drank Tequila and rarely ate people. Fiction is fiction

I'm just shocked Liam turned into an action star. I like him as an action star, just wouldn't have pictured it.

Action movies don't get me excited often.

Curious why since you don't have very much to say, good or bad, about these kinds of movies, and then proceed to participate in threads about them... Was it just to politicize the idea of the film?

Work is slow and i participate in most every thread on the board out of boredom :)

So yes, I just politicized it. That's all. Enjoy.

LOL

Understood. I'd say politics has nothing to do with it. It's a paycheck, and I can't imagine these roles are too difficult for him.

yeah, I just work in fields I believe in. I would never do a movie like reefer madness and then come out and argue for legalization the way I do.

But some are mercenaries. It is what it is.

It also pisses me off when I see mr nice guy montel williams pedal payday loans on tv too but what can you do? Ill still trash the guy for using his clean, trusting image to sell predatory loans.

(PS: the only forum getting tons of action this week has been the politics board so I may be carrying thoughts over into other areas without thinking)

I'm sure he is raking it in but cmon Liam, have a little dignity man! He's not even making an effort to act in these it's just the same raspy voice and a lot of killing people in plain site with no legal ramifications...

Not to be insensitive but has anyone else noticed that since his wife passed he pretty much makes whatever movie he gets offered now? Maybe it's some kind of coping thing... Just keep working all the time... :( Poor guy
