NASCAR hit three Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams and Sunday's Xfinity Series winner with major penalties Wednesday after their Dover race cars underwent post-race inspections at the Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C. The Cup teams of Clint Bowyer and Daniel Suarez were penalized because of rear-window violations. Mike Bugarewicz, Bowyer’s crew chief on the Stewart-Haas Racing No. 14 Ford, was fined $50,000, and car chief Jerry Cook was suspended for two races.
