Time to trade Nash while he still has value. Send him to Toronto where he will be adored. If we dont move him now, his turnover rate is going to cost us the season and I dont see us getting a Point Guard bailout from the NBA.

Rock this masterpiece all while milking the media attention that will follow a blockbuster.

I can not figure out why Portland would do that.

I'd propose something simple- Nash and 2nd round pick for Calderon and Bargnani. Bargnani is not very good, but probably better than what we currently have as far as back up big men go, and Calderon is a very good point guard. Logically, it makes no sense for Toronto to give up a better, younger player for Nash, but maybe between Nash being a hero in Toronto, and Colangelo connection, Toronto may be stupid enough to do it.

Webster is injured and pretty much lost his spot in the rotation, and with Oden improving on a daily basis there is less and less time in the frontcourt for Frye. Bayless' minutes are spotty at best and he cant find his role on the team.

In return they get two amazing 3point shooters, helping space the floor for Roy even more.

How about Haslem & Chalmers for Nash.

Goog back up big man off the bench and an up and coming 2 way PG. Man I wish we could have traded for Chalmer on draft night instead of Dragic. Also Rondo is coming into his own.

Fair enough.
What about the Knicks?
Give up Lee and Duhon for 2 back ups?
Isn't D'Antoni also in love with Gallinari?

I like the trade for Phoenix and especially for Toronto. Portland doesn't get much better. I am not sure how I missed the Knicks when I was looking at this first time, but this is horrible for the Knicks. I know D'Antoni is in love with Barbosa, but Duhon is just a better player, not to mention that Lee is much better than Bargnani. Additionally, Both Lee and Duhon are expiring contracts (up before summer of 2010). Barbosa is gonna be making over 7 mil that year.

Considering how much Nash struggled when we were playing at a slower pace, I don't see why Toronto or especially Portland would want Nash. They're 20th and 30th in pace respectively according to Hollinger's stats.

I think these teams would like to increase the tempo....thus Nash would be a good fit.

Toronto is increasing the pace and Portland will not because they are so young and playing decent D and taking care of the ball.

He struggled because he didn't want to low down and tried to play fast when slowing down was the only wise way with Porter as coach and the roster as is. He seems to have given up on that personal crusade and came back to earth. He and the Suns will be fine.
