Nashville media is going crazy. Its all over TV, radio, and the papers. They have country music stars making videos pleading with Manning to come here. He is royalty here and if the Titans sign him this town will explode. Peyton Manning is royalty in Tennessee from border to border. He can do no wrong in this state.

They sure are. Listen to sports radio and you would think he already signed. All of this is getting on my nerves to be honest.

Wife is from Memphis, he has a house in Chattanooga, and they just said he has a place in Hendersonville close to the lake. It ain't looking too good for Arizona.

If he would sign with Tennessee because a bunch of country music stars are on videos asking him to then he's not the player OR the man I thought he was.

Thats just part of the package. People here in Tennessee treat him like royalty. Tennessee won the national championship with Tee Martin at quarterback and Tee is forgotten here. He can do NO wrong here.

Titans dob't need a qb. They have both Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker (8th pick in last year's draft) The front office stated that defense was their biggest need in free agency. They were to be in contention for Mario Williams and/or John Abraham. Owner Bud Adams threw that out and told them to go after Peyton. Hell of a way to run an organization.

The impact on ticket sales and merchandise will go through the roof. Adams owns the team and writes the checks. He is the boss and he's right on this one.

Yup, listening on the way home today they are now saying Locker is a couple of years away and Hasselbeck is injury prone.

A few weeks ago it was Locker's time to start and Hasselbeck is a great backup.
