The Nashville Predators visit the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday to conclude their road trip.
The Predators lost 2-1 to the Anaheim Ducks on Friday to end their four-game win streak. Forward Michael Bunting made his debut for Nashville in the loss, his first appearance in a game since appendectomy surgery on Feb. 27.
Nashville (25-33-7, 57 points) is in seventh place in the Central Division, eight points ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks. According to Money Puck, the Predators have an 8.7% chance of earning the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
Los Angeles (35-20-9, 79 points) are in third place in the Pacific Division, one point behind the Edmonton Oilers. The Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the league, conceding 2.59 goals per game, which ranks fourth in the league.
The Kings are led by Adrian Kempe's 27 goals and Anze Kopitar's 37 assists. Former Predators' winger Kevin Fiala has 25 goals for Los Angeles, his sixth straight 20-goal season since being traded from Nashville to Minnesota in 2019.
The Predators are expected to start Justus Annunen in net, while the Kings will likely go with Darcy Kuemper.
