so, one year after we got to witness a historically bad offense, we get to witness a historically bad passing defense

Let's not forget that last year we were unwatchable on BOTH sides of the ball. We somewhat gave the D an excuse because of the switch to a 4-3, but let's not put lipstick on a pig. Our D was unwatchable last year & if possible, even worse this year. My concern is that this pathetic D is also affecting the overall development of both our HC & QBOF. This D can't get off the field & limits the time our O should be on the field.

as an optimistic person:

things tend to revert toward the mean. Especially true when you are a material outlier. It also helps that the NFL is designed to encourage exactly that.

the passing D will get better. Just a question of how much better

Our pass defense is getting worse as the season progresses. I truly believe they don’t believe in the scheme, DC & what they are being taught at this point. I’ve been hearing the word communication the last several weeks from some players. To me that says either Joseph’s schemes are too complicated or the schemes just suck. I still say the coaching is worse than the talent

I just posted the secondary coach is KK’s guy, “The biggest questions would surround David Raih, the Dbacks Coach. With so many rookies, player development would be crucial. His background is a concern. He did coach the secondary at GB last season. Didn’t seem like a great year. While people talk about this being Joseph’s group, Raih was the receivers coach for KK during his high school tenure. As far as I can tell he has no other receiver credentials.” Are you sure this would have been Joseph’s pick. KK should keep his hands off the defense.
