If anything NAU got a better look after the stoppage as Montana pulled back from defending the baseline. With .4 seconds and taking the ball under the basket you are in a long shot prayer scenario
The kid should have stayed on the bench, but he made a great effort to get back, the guy inbounding the ball never even looked in that direction and it clearly had zero impact on the play
NAU was looking for a bail out and didn't get it, nor should they have
Their coach can be upset with the officials, upset with his guys for giving up such an easy bucket, but absolutely no need to go after their coach like that
