The ongoing Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic first-round series has continued to dominate headlines for its physicality and off-court exchanges. Boston, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, secured a dominant 103-86 Game 1 win on Easter Sunday, then closed out Game 2 by rallying from a 49-48 halftime deficit—outscoring Orlando 30-18 in the third quarter—to prevail 109-100.
Yet as both teams turned their focus toward Game 3 in Orlando on Friday, the Celtics were contending with fresh injury concerns. Per Monday’s official report, Jayson Tatum—who, in Game 2, did not suit up for a playoff game for the first time in his career — was initially ruled doubtful as he continues to recover from a right distal-radius bone bruise suffered in Game 1.

Jaylen Brown, the Celtics' leading scorer in this series, was listed as questionable with a right-knee posterior impingement, while veteran guard Jrue Holiday carries a right-hamstring strain designation.
While things were looking bad for Boston, they got a bit better when Tatum and Brown were ruled in, despite Holiday being ruled out.
Fans shared their reactions on X.
"we back," said one.
"Let’s go Champs," another said.
"TATUM BACK LET’S GOOO," added a third.
"WE BACK," exclaimed another.
Kristaps Porzingis, who suffered a head injury in Game 2, was not on the injury report. He will be joined by his two star teammates in Tatum and Brown, as both players are good to go after having their statuses in question entering this important Game 3.
