I also noticed why did KJ only play a few years?? only 735 games that is not even half of some of the other PG? It would have been nice to see him play longer.

Kevin Johnson couldn't stay healthy. There is little doubt in my mind he would be one of the top three in assists at this point if he had played a nice long career. Damned hamstrings!

I think the awards are named at the beginning of the season. They are called "Most Valuable Player," "Rookie of the Year," and so forth.
