It would be fascinating to see one entire game played by the literal rules. I know we would have an avalanche of whistles. But it would be so interesting to (a) see just how whiny the players would be; and (b) which players could adapt to actually play basketball; and (c) if such a change would substantially alter the outcome of games.


I can't imagine Steph without being able to carry the ball

Back in my high school days (way back), carrying and palming the ball were frequent calls. Nowadays every dribble would be a carry or a palm.

Same thing with, the first foot on the floor was your pivot foot. You couldn't move it.

I guess stuff like that is what makes it so hard for me to watch games anymore. I'm old time. Which for many things is the way it should be. IMO.
