NBA mulling formal concussion policy (AP)

The NBA says it IS consulting with an independent neurologist about establishing a league-wide protocol to handle concussions. Currently, each team decides how to treat concussions and when a player can return to play. An NBA spokesman said Tuesday that officials are discussing a formal set of steps that would cover all players.
