Maybe the Suns continue their awful ways and get a top pick to get Shabazz Muhammad

It really looks like they traded the wrong guy. Shipped off their 2nd best player and a do everything guy and kept Westbrook, who is as erratic as any player in the league.

Bynum with a setback with his knee. Everyone knew this guy was injury prone yet a team traded for him.

Harden had a bad finals but he was a monster in the other series.

Harden is a great scorer, anyone who says he isn't hasn't watched him enough.

He's a very good player trying to fill the shoes of a great scorer. As a result, his shooting percentages are dropping and his turnovers are skyrocketing. He's the ideal second banana but Houston is a little light on quality fruit.

Hehe I'd take Harden right now over every on the Suns not named Dragic. I saw a bunch of his games this year. Damn impressive player. He may get better once he gets used to starting as well. Definitely a top scorer in the NBA. He also gets a fair share of rebounds and assists. I think he'll also get better looks since Chandler Parsons is starting to pick up his game.

Well, yeah he would clearly be our best or second best player if we could have just added him to our squad. But, keep in mind there were people suggesting that we screwed up because we didn't send Dragic, Gortat, Dudley and draft picks to OKC so that we could pay Harden the max. Most people pared that deal down to Gortat, Dudley and picks but that would strip us bare, handcuff us for the future and it still probably wouldn't have been enough to land him. Well, that's my opinion anyway - many here disagree with me.

I think it's almost always a bad idea to trade away your nucleus for one player unless you're sending a Junior Bridgeman to Milwaukee or something like that. If you're getting a true franchise player, it's a steal but otherwise it's pretty risky. Speaking of Bridgeman, did you guys know he is pretty much the fast food king? He owns something like 160 Wendy's franchises. Kareem might have had a slightly better NBA career but who's laughing now?

Slightly!

Er, I would take Kareem's career (and his brand new statue) over owning 160 Wendy's franchises anytime. Especially if you've ever had one of their burgers. Carl's Jr or Burger King, pretty good. The rest, no. In my opinion.

Of course, Kareem could buy all of the Island's whenever he wanted to.

So you're saying this Kareem guy was halfway decent? What was his +/- and does it hold up to a defensive stalwart such as Robin Lopez?

Gee, I don't know, Steve. Did Lou Alcindor, I mean Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, learn everything he knows (or doesn't know) from comic books?

Robin the Boy Wonder couldn't even do a SKY-rebound, holding it down low to be stripped.

And now back to our regularly scheduled program . . . :)

I think you're confusing Sweet Lou Johnson with Sourpuss Lew Alcindor. You old guys always have trouble with your loo's. But, to continue a nice little thread hijack, yes I was kidding when I mentioned Kareem's slightly better NBA career. Could you imagine if Lopez had Kareem's understanding of the game?

Halftime in Houston and the Rockets have 2 players on pace for 50. Harden has 25 (on 8 shots!) and Parsons has 26!!!

How embarrassing for Sacremento - Kevin Love out-rebounded their six front court players combined, 24-21. Tyreke Evans led the team with 7 rebs.

Of course, Varejao only lost to our 7 front court players combined 21-18.

Meanwhile the Pacers are doing their best to let the Lakers take them in the waning minutes of their game. LA is shooting under 30% for the game but they've been to the line 39 times, making 23, DH 3 of 12.
