Some of the glory years. The others would be the 55 times in 60 years that the Lakers have made the playoffs, the 14 titles, and the 28 trips to the finals.

Man, you sure know how to make people feel good...I didn't think I could be more confident going into the playoffs, but all this championship stuff reminded me of the level your Spurs are NOT at.

It will be a pleasure watching the Suns bounce you from the playoffs this year.

please type one post, in any thread, where you discuss basketball. not taunting, not talking about HIV, not calling anyone out, just basketball. i would like to see what you know about basketball, what your opinions might be regarding matchups in the first round, what you think about pops' coaching manuevers, what you think about duncan's new challenge with shaq, anything really . . . as long as it's actually basketball related. that's my challenge to you. i am curious to see what level of bball IQ you actually possess. please.

good god we need to beat the spurs.

and we really need it to start on satty.

i'll be interested to see hill on parker again in the fourth quarter. he actually seemed to play parker better than marion b/c he's not as prone to leap at pumpfakes which makes his height advantage much more effective. we just can't run him ragged on parker the entire game. leave nash/barbs on parker through 3 quarters and then change it up in the fourth, like they did the last game.

will also be really interesting to see if shaq's presence in the post continues to give the spurs fits. if they have to adjust to him it will likely free up our outside shooters for the first time against the spurs due to his prowess passing outta the post. would really like to free up raja for some looks.

final two items i'm looking forward to seeing:

1. going euro on their euro. giri on floppi. they've got the better euro, but ours is like a poor man's version. i wonder how floppi will react to that.

2. seeing shaq lay out bowen. you know it'll happen in one of these contests. i can't wait to see it.
