NBA to play games in Europe

(New Orleans, LA) -- The NBA has announced the New Orleans Hornets and Washington Wizards will play two preseason games in Germany and Spain next season as part of NBA Europe Live. The Hornets will face the Wizards in Berlin on October 14th and again in Barcelona on October 17th. The Miami Heat and New Jersey Nets will also play overseas, as they will meet in Paris on October 9th followed by a contest in London on October 12th. The NBA has currently played in 44 games all over Europe in the last two decades. Last year's seven games in Europe drew more than ten-point-three-million viewers and more than 75-thousand spectators.

Im glad theyre doing a half assed attempt at bringing bball overseas. If they threw the Suns, Lakers or Celtics over there Europe might actually become interested.
