The comedies look Whitney bad. But Chicago Fire looks potentially really good and Revolution is another JJ Abrams sci-fi thing. Not sure how I feel about Revolution yet. It has Gus from Breaking Bad playing yet another bad guy toughie (or at least that's how he's cast at first ... it's Abrams ... the moral barometer will skew many directions if you give him enough time). Not excited that the Revolution logo looks suspiciously like Heroes. That's a reall, really, really bad omen.

The clip for Revolution makes it look pretty awesome. Crossing fingers that it is good. The quantity of shows that I am into these days is dwindling and could use a new winner.

Chicago Fire looks... interesting.. not sure how to take it, but it has potential.. Hopefully it does not fall into most Emergency Medicine dramas where every call is the end of the world, and burns out within the first season because it starts way to damn high runs out of stories, is not accurate AT ALL, and is corny and boring..

I have hope, little as it is, I will still give it a try..

This cracked me up. Made me feel really, really old. In the description for Fox's 'Following,' they sell Kevin Bacon as a member of the cast of 'X-Men: First Class.'

Really? That's how you sell one of the most prolific actors of all time? The guy who played the evil Nazi doctor in a comic book movie?

I noticed that too. The premise for that show ("What would happen if these killers had a way of communicating and connecting with each other? What if they were able to work together and form alliances across the country?") is completely absurd, but with Kevin Bacon involved I'm interested.

I'm looking forward to the CBS Sherlock show.

I'm really torn. Sherlock is one of the best TV shows I've ever seen with my own eyes. It's hip even for BBC. Trying to copy that is almost impossible, and that character is the quintessential British hero. It'd be like BBC trying to do Indiana Jones, which they sort of did and ended up all over the map with the Jack Harkness character in Doctor Who and Torchwood. BBC forced British sensibility into an American archetype. I'd hate to see us do that to Sherlock.

? I thoroughly enjoyed Captain Jack Harkness, and he is in no way Indiana Jones. He's a serious guy who is flip to hide his pain. Oh, and he's omni-sexual--he goes all ways :D
