ASU won, 5-4. Besides that 1 bad inning by Leake our freshman pitchers came up big. The middle of the line-up didn't do much, but the Devils still were able to put enough runs on the board. We play the winner of Oregon State and Cal State Fullerton I believe...I'll be rooting for the other Pac-10 team to move on with us.

Edit: It was a home run by Ike Davis that put the Devils on top for good.

Oregon State gets a win over Cal State Fullerton, 3-2. Good to see the Pac-10 doing well today, but most importantly I feel confident that ASU can beat Oregon State on a neutral field. We just came off a sweep against them in Corvallis. Who knows though with this tournament...

12-6 loss. Looked even worse than the score shows. Now they have to win 3 straight elimination games. Not looking good, but they have a great team this year so I could see it happening.

ASU was never really in it. They gave up runs in the first inning and were down by more than six for a few innings.

...or for the fact that Wallace couldn't muster a single freakin hit the entire CWS and he had a chance to win it for ASU with bases loaded last night and one out and hit into a horrible double play.
