They really blew an opportunity to beat BAMA. if they win that game everything is different for them now. The SEC teams are killing one another. Now that there are so many good teams in there, we are seeing the giant squads really struggle to dominate the lesser talented teams in the conference like we saw in the past when it was actually overrated in my opinion. I love to see it.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media

And they would all be in first or second place in the Big 12.SEC has three good teams and a bunch of average teams
Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina are all good IMO. perhaps all of those have weaknesses in certain areas which is why we see so many of the other teams in the SEC beat them. I think Georgia and Texas are the top 2 squads, but their QB play has been erratic at times. I wouldn't rule out Texas A&M beating Texas next week. That game has now turned into the Aggies super bowl. no team is safe from week to week.SEC has three good teams and a bunch of average teams
Believe it or not, the loss to Auburn wound up changing nothing for the Aggies. Thanks to Alabama and Ole Miss losing. Beat Texas they play for the SEC championship which was the stakes of the game the last few weeks anyhow.Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina are all good IMO. perhaps all of those have weaknesses in certain areas which is why we see so many of the other teams in the SEC beat them. lol. Not hardly. And they would all be in first or second place in the Big 12.
I am curious of A&M's confidence going into this week. Maybe the loss is no big deal, but I am certain they wanted to go into the game with their heads held high. I am glad that Texas is playing A&M and Arkansas again. Those are fun games with a lot of history. I think playing at Arkansas might be the toughest environment that I have ever seen Texas play in. In my lifetime Texas/OU has been the biggest rivalry game for Texas. But Arkansas and A&M are very unkind towards Texas.Believe it or not, the loss to Auburn wound up changing nothing for the Aggies. It's going to be quite the spectacle in College Station. People are hungry for the return of the biggest game in the biggest state. (Yes, I know Alaska is bigger. But they don't count. No football up there )
I think Texas and Georgia would be #1 and #2 respectively in that conference if they were in it. but like the SEC, the big 12 does have a lot of good teams that can beat one another from week to week. I think the big 12 has been underrated for a long time. Mack Brown's reign ended earlier than expected because so many big 12 teams improved their programs and were out recruiting him. OU were able to change with the times, but Texas did not. Now OU are feeling the loss of Lincoln Riley. I don't know that they have the right head coach and if I were them I would not let the game yesterday cloud their judgment with him. The new offensive coordinator that OU have now (just started a couple of weeks ago I think) is a former standout OU tight end. If I recall correctly his dad also had OU ties and was his head coach at Arlington High School in Texas. And they would all be in first or second place in the Big 12.
