What happened to Cowheard? I saw a YouTube video recently of him interviewing Vince young. I forgot all about him until I saw that video. I stopped listening to him after the build up to the Texas/USC game all those years ago. He was basically a USC fanboy, I know he was a pac 10 guy though. I remember he was on ESPN radio back then when I lived at Luke AFB.

He has his own radio show on Fox Sports that I enjoy listening to when I am driving around, but you are right he has some real leanings. He spent a lot of time in the Seattle area, but I think he relocated to LA and really sucks up to USC when they are doing well, but he's also critical of them when they are sucking. Kind of like Petros in that respect.

I forgot about Petros as well lol. man USC has really been in the dumps. I heard after the game that Lincoln Riley said something along the lines that they would be a top SEC team. IDK if that is true? He probably still holds a grudge from A&M destroying him in the cotton bowl with Johnny Manziel. FWIW I think the SEC is overrated.

I enjoy listening to Petros. He is on waaaaay early in the morning as a guest once in a while and usually has some good super old stories about when he was at USC. He always seem to speak highly of Dillingham, which I enjoy.

Ya, Riley is a trip. I have seen him a few times recently kind of giving a 'woe is me" talk about how USC is having such a tough time retaining players due to the NIL. Ya, I will never feel sorry for USC, sorry.

I like petros. He made me laugh all the time. I remember in the build up to the Texas/USC game he and Brian jones (who is basically his longhorns brother from another mother) had a steak eating contest. It was hilarious.

Yeah, that was one of most enjoyable bowl games so far. I mean, Illinois was definitely gaming the substitutions system bad. I can't recall a team playing that game to that extent. It was so blatant what they were doing the NCAA is basically going to be forced to make a rule change

yeah something tells me that Ohio State will be well represented. Both OSU and Texas travel as well as anyone else. I don't think that stadium is a home advantage for texas. San Antonio, Houston, or the traditional Cotton Bowl maybe, but Arlington is not exactly a home game for Texas and Texas would probably be better off playing somewhere else. It would be crazy to play in the old Cotton Bowl in bad weather. that would make for an epic game and the venue is more historic than AT&T stadium. The one thing that I do like as a Texas fan is that they are big underdogs for the first time. I'm excited to see how they handle that. Ohio State haven't exactly lit the lamp when they were heavily favored. Other than that I got nothing. I think both of these teams are very talented and I think the winner will win the title.
