Yeah outside of Green Bay there were several games were he actually made clutch catches in bailed Kyler out on third down and fourth down.

I swear Green's whole season was that GB play. If he makes that I'm sure everyone here is saying to resign him "He's clutch" and "Great value".

Because he didn't hear a play call change in a stadium filled with GB fans he's a let down, slow and past it.

Not to overreact, but it seems to me that too often, AJ Green disappointed in clutch situations and cost us a couple of games, Want to ride that pony when we need a big play next season?
And he was invisible in the red zone. If you can't make contested end zone catches I don't want to cough up 7 million. The GB finale is not forgotten.

Didn’t hear the play my ass. What receiver doesn’t look for the ball on just about every play? He trotted into the end zone and looked in the crowd.
I digress. We need somebody better than Green. I’m sick about hearing about “ value”.
Value saves money. Talent wins games.

I would re-sign Green, potential starter/depth. Like some have stated, that Green Bay game is what most are judging his overall contribution by, which is not fair. Sure, he's no longer that Pro Bowler he used to be, but he's still better than a guy like Kirk (you Jaguars are suckers) if placed on the outside and he will have now a year under his belt with Kingsbury's offense. Now this does not mean I wouldn't add another WR, because I think we can retain him at a good price

If you’re not getting better you’re getting worse. Why do we want to settle for “ value”.

Good lord gang, it’s not our money. We need speed.

We also forgetting the easy drop on a 20 yard dime by Kyler the play before the pick 6 vs the Rams? Green is washed. Let’s move on.
I haven't forgotten. Looked the proverbial 98-pound weakling on that play.

"I thought we were playing 2-hand touch."

I remember him being lazy with his feet abd catching with one foot outside the field
Has been signed to bring veteran leadership and consistency when needed

If one were to construct a scale of what he did right and what he did wrong in his first season, I find it hard to imagine the scale tipped overwhelming to a bad conclusion. If we are judging him by that approach, then we might as well cut 80% of the team on that late slide into the pits of Hades... I say we can still sign Green and be able to get another guy because we do not owe him the unusual salary which Fitz was getting when he was past his prime

Let AJ Green walk away. His heart was not in it at all with the Cards. He should retire, he has made his money.

I would trade budda baker for Metcalf or Jeudy
I think Budda's coverage skills do not get enough shrapnel (though he was playing with a DL and a LB crew which disappeared after JJ went on IR), but that's an interesting suggestion worthy to stir the pot of ASFN lol

Yeah we have a more complete safety to extend in the near future, Jalen Thompson

Can’t please everybody, I guess?. we all want top two or 25 year old, or HOF players at every position, but, just not logical or going to happen. Just not possible. Overall, I’m happy with what we have done this off season so far, considering.

We have a pretty old roster we don't need the disinterested green and his baggage of inconsistency
Btw i appreciate the BritCard attempt to create an argument
Shoutout to Shane as well.

for me, it was more than that

he spent the last 7 games with untimely drops and a weird lack of effort and/or focus on certain passes
