I would look into seeing what it would take to trade for Kyler's ole Sooner mate Marquise Brown

I think Kyler would be happy, but Brown has under performed so it might not cost a lot.I would look into seeing what it would take to trade for Kyler's ole Sooner mate Marquise Brown
Didn’t hear the play my ass. What receiver doesn’t look for the ball on just about every play? He trotted into the end zone and looked in the crowd.
I digress. We need somebody better than Green. I’m sick about hearing about “ value”.
Value saves money. Talent wins games.
We also forgetting the easy drop on a 20 yard dime by Kyler the play before the pick 6 vs the Rams? Green is washed. Let’s move on.
Apart from Green Bay can you name one other time?
I can think of several times he made clutch plays and the game day threads agreed.
Will Fuller on a minimum wage incentive-laden deal? His market has to be small with the injury history. Speed to burn to take some of Kirk's snaps.
Let DHop recruit him.
Well the picksix against the Rams that people are still talking about never happens if AJ Green just holds on to the ball a couple of plays earlier. Horrible play by Kyler, take him years to live that down but it only happened because Green makes the catch and holds on a against a good but not exactly huge hit.
Green was good not great, he made some very good plays, he had some what in the heck is he doing plays. He ran into a teammate at least 4 times last year busting up plays, I think it was Detroit where on an INT he stopped running watched the DB catch it, go down, get up and start running and AJ just stood there.
The main thing is when we needed him to step up without D Hop we got 2 good games, the 2nd Rams game over 100 yards and should have had a TD on the play where Kyler missed him deep. And the Cowboys game. No TD's in his last 11 games, 3 all year . I won't hold the catches to targets against him because lots of his targets were those 3rd or 4th down plays where we went deep, the degree of difficulty on his targets were pretty hard IMO.
I've been a huge AJ Green fan his entire career but I would only bring him back if its' for even less money than he got this year.
And another year in the system is helpfulDon't disagree with anything but the reasoning. It was his first year in a new scheme. He's going to mess some plays up.
And sure, he's good not great. Which is why we paid him 7.25m. We can only afford good not great and in the market we are shopping in Green is the best available and doesn't wipe out a comp pick.
Would I like Lockett, DJ, Robinson etc? Of course. But it ain't happening and Green + draft is the best solution.

What your griping about is a common trait amongst true #1 diva WRs which Green has been for most of his career. Like you said we watch it regularly from Dhop. We were just spoiled by Fitz who wasn’t wired that way. Kind of a meaningless complain really. My issue with him, and again I've been a fan his whole career, he played like a guy who just didn't really seem completely bought in. I think he was good until we hit some adversity and then he kind of went through the motions.
Maybe it's me but after GB I watched him more closely, I get that D Hop does it too but it's surprising how often on plays where Green is clearly not the primary target, he does literally nothing, jogs forward 5 yards checks his heart rate. The weird thing for me is as mentioned he made a bunch of plays this year on broken plays where Kyler threw it up to him and got it. But if you watch him when he's not the design of the play it's really alarming how often he doesn't even bother to run a pattern.
He and Kyler were never on the same page, he was the new guy so I kept figuring ok that will change but it didn't, even late in the season there were a couple of plays where he nearly caused a picksix by stopping on a route with the ball in the air, that sort of thing.
A team full of value likely looks good on the books but mediocre on the field.Didn’t hear the play my ass. What receiver doesn’t look for the ball on just about every play? He trotted into the end zone and looked in the crowd.

No.He's 100% going to miss a third of the season. You want 6 games of Wesley?

It was Ertz' first year too but he put in the work to learn it and prospered. The apparent lack of effort and absence of chemistry with Murray is concerning.Don't disagree with anything but the reasoning. It was his first year in a new scheme. He's going to mess some plays up.

And no one has brought up his blocking - or complete lack thereof. He was atrocious due primarily to lack of effort. My issue with him, and again I've been a fan his whole career, he played like a guy who just didn't really seem completely bought in. I think he was good until we hit some adversity and then he kind of went through the motions.

Yeah the “first year” excuse doesn’t hold water for an entire freaking season. Not to mention, in my decades of watching football I’ve never heard anyone lean into that excuse for any player at any position in the pros.It was Ertz' first year too but he put in the work to learn it and prospered. The apparent lack of effort and absence of chemistry with Murray is concerning.
I'm not convinced he'd be better in a second year and he's a year older.
Perhaps Robinson is being unrealistic about his value. . .curious that there hasnt been a peep of a rumor on him...to anyone

How about Jarvis, or Ju Ju?
Teams don’t trade players like MetCalf in the same division. See Texans response when Colts reached out about Watson yesterdayNo, is another gadget player.
We need speed and length for contested catches
Metcalf is the ideal for this offense
