Need fantasy baseball help!

I am strong in pitching, i have: Hudson, Leiter, Vasquez, Mussina, Ishii, Loaiza, Wakefield.

I suck in homers, RBI, etc.

So I got offered today: Manny Ramirez for Mike Mussina.

Any thoughts on this?

Moose is off to a great start - He is the ace of your staff. Counter with Vasquez or Ishii.....

I almost posted the exact same thing, but I was going to say Vasquez or Hudson. Also Mussina is pretty much a guaranteed win because of the Yankees offense.

Aubrey Huff

with Brian Giles and Griffey on the DL right now.

Yeah, i guess I need to thank you guys, I obviously under-valued Mussina.

I sent him a counter asking if Hudson or Vasquez would be workable for Manny, and he said "nothing gets by you" lol....and then thought I'd probably ask for another player from him.

What do you think of something like:

Manny + Andrew Jones for Mussina + Jose Cruz.?

That I would do - but then you will have to add a pitcher to your roster and cut an offensive player.

You don't need to have a certain number of players at each position?

So far, so good. Four starts, four wins. A sub-2.00 ERA with 33 Ks and 7 walks in 29 innings. On a staff of No. 1 starters, the Moose has pitched like the ace so far.

How Mussina is still gunning for a 20-win season is amazing. All he does is win. Among active players with at least 150 career decisions, only Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte have higher winning percentages than Mussina's .646.

I have some bench players, so I can just move them around.

Nice blurb on Mussina, I'm definitely keeping him now.

Well, I wore him down, got Manny for Tim Hudson. I really like Huddy, I hate to see him go...but I need some power, and Manny sure can get on a tear sometimes.
