What CD burning software do you prefer?

I had a ton of trouble using Roxio when I switched to XP a few years ago so I went with Nero....now I like Nero so much I will never go back to Roxio

I've never used Roxio, but I see no reason to since I'm plenty happy with Nero.

Ryan I hear ya - installed roxio (wasn't it easy cd creator back in the day?) on windows xp way back when and it kept making windows crash.

Haven't felt comfortable with them since.

Right now I am using "IBM Record Now" (really a veritas burning program) simply because it came preloaded on my work laptop.

I haven't used Roxio for several years. I switched to Nero because of a high failure rate. Haven't had any major problems since.

I use clonecd and a freeware program called CDBurnerXP Pro. :?

Given the choice I prefer Nero to Roxio. When it was Adaptec ez cd creator it was a very decent program, since being sold to Roxio it has gone way downhill IMO.

Roxio version 6 + for CD and Record Now vers. 4.61 for DVD. Roxio has compatibility issues with some blank DVD discs brands.
