The Brooklyn Nets (25-51) are coming off an impressive weekend as they picked up narrow wins at the Washington Wizards and at the Dallas Mavericks during their last multi-game road trip. Brooklyn has been dealing with some crucial injuries lately, including forward Noah Clowney going down for the rest of the season, and they could be missing even more bodies Thursday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Nets announced on Wednesday that forwards Cam Johnson and Ziaire Williams, along with backup center Day'Ron Sharpe, are out for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves with their respective situations. Johnson is recovering from a lower back contusion that he suffered over the weekend while Sharpe is still dealing with a right knee sprain, but the good news is that Williams is only missing the game due to rest.

Forward Jalen Wilson, who has been playing well recently, is dealing with soreness in his right ankle and is listed as questionable for Thursday. After experiencing a shooting slump from December through February, Wilson averaged 9.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 39.3% from the field and 36.2% from three-point land in March.

The good news for the Nets heading into a matchup against Anthony Edwards and Minnesota on Thursday is that guard D'Angelo Russell is probable for the game due to right ankle soreness. That right ankle has been troublesome for Russell as most of the 16 games that he has missed for the Nets since coming to the team via trade from the Los Angeles Lakers has been due to that right ankle.

With Johnson out of the lineup, Brooklyn could use as many available players as possible, including Russell as he is coming off one of the best games that he has played while in a Nets uniform for the second time in his career. In 31 minutes in Monday's 113-109 win at the Dallas Mavericks, Russell put up his fourth double-double of 18 points and 11 assists while chipping in five rebounds as well.

Nets say that D'Angelo Russell (right ankle soreness) is PROBABLE tomorrow vs. the Timberwolves.

Jalen Wilson (right ankle soreness) is QUESTIONABLE.

Cam Johnson (lower back contusion), Day'Ron Sharpe (right knee sprain), and Ziaire Williams (rest) are OUT.
