Can't believe Nash misses two clutch three's.
I can unfortunately. He had problems in the clutch last year. One thing that symbolized it for me was airballing a 3 against Dallas in Dallas that would have tied the game late in the 4th quarter, the previous year he hit that shot. :(

I don't think we can even make the playoffs at this point. Can't even win home games against semi-bad teams...

man, this team is a joke and Amare is just too dumb to ever be a superstar.

They lost because they didn't have ways or unwilling to pass the ball to Amare for long stretches. Amare were perfect on offense. Yet, you find a way to blame it on him?

He plays a great game and then in the last minutes of the game overreacts and gets ejected....come on Amare. I don't think it was worthy of a tech but he needs to understand that he has been at it with the refs a few time tonight and they are just waiting for something like this.

And we shouldn't have needed any clutch shots, had we instructed Singletary and others to let Amare touch the ball on offense! Instead, they passed back and forth on perimeter leading to turnovers most of the time.

He was shooting sideways one one of them and one of them was only a two pointer. It was a last shot attempt to get us back in the game.
Oh I'm not saying anything bad about Nash. Quite the contrary, Nash is so clutch every big shot he takes I always expect it to go in since it seems he always nails them. Thanks for pointing out the second one was just a 2 pointer, I didn't see that.:)

I expect them to go in too. He always makes the three pointers when we need them but we can't always put it on him to get us back. Tough loss hopefully we can figure it out. By the way welcome to the board!!

I don't even know what the hell to even think about this team. Just down right terrible. I really hope we don't make the playoffs.

Suns give up 43 points in the 4th quarter, outscored 43-24. They let the Nets shoot 50% for the game and turn the ball over 21 times.

But look at the bright side, the Suns finally lose a game by fewer than 10 points.

I am freaking scared, they lose to teams they should beat and now they gotta face 2 teams that are a level higher than the last 2 they played...

Something needs to be done, this is getting frustrating. Why the hell do they have so many turnovers? It is freaking insane...

This is all just a carbon copy of last year, except one year older.

It doesn't matter who you bring in to "coach" defense with this group. All of these guys are either completely stuck in their ways or incapable (too old or too dumb) of doing better.

Nash has been getting torched by scrubs, and when we play against teams with point guards who are actually good scorers it's like our worst nightmare.

I don't think Porter new offense system is working..... lol we have atleast 12 plus turnovers every night it's disgusting. They better get this crap figured out close to the allstar break. Because if we are still having turnover problems by the time the playoffs roll around we will not get out of the 1st round. I bet we will make a trade before the tradedeadline anyone else?

shaq came in near the 2nd half of the 4th qtr. thats when we went flat, game over from there on.
i hear how people are complaining about making an entry pass, how hard is to make one, it should be easy right?
but not with an old shaq there.
if he is fronted, he does not have the quickness or the hops to go backside towards the basket. if he does go backside, usually the weakside D comes and blocks or fouls.

if he is played straight up & not within 5 feet of the basket, whats the point of making an entry pass to shaq? the defense will just sag off of him.

singletary did good in the 4th, but nash should have came in a little earlier.

This is only going to get worse since the players don't respect Porter or buy into the new system.

Yep. But I don't think anything will change if we fire Porter and bring in someone like Flip Saunders. Porter is just a "jr" version of him. Simple fact these guys cant play defense when it counts.

To be fair since the Suns are playing so much zone this year it's the entire team getting torched not just Nash.

The team wasn't built to be a defensive team. So why would you try and force it and bring in a defensive coach? Especially if the FO still thought this team had a shot at the title, like they said they did. I'd understand it if they're in rebuilding mode, but they aren't conceding that yet.
