Hi guys, for those of you interested, I've put together an early look at some of the top prospects of the 2014 NFL Draft. Ideally to just get an idea of who to look for in this upcoming College season. Let me know what you think

2014 NFL Mock Draft

*The order was determined by the Vegas Superbowl odds as of last week

Next year will be the PERFECT time to pick up a top LT

Jake Matthews
Cyprus Kouandjio
Taylor Lewan

There will be plenty of talent early on that we won't have to be picking top 5 to land one either.

This was the first time in a while where I gave an LT to the Cards and didn't feel it was a reach. I think this might finally be the year you guys fix that LT spot

We still need one more premium OG and C before I can sleep good. Hopefully our current stable of young OTs will prove worthy of starting for years to come. But if not, you are correct that there are lots of tackles supposedly good enough to go high in the draft next year.

I am hoping right now that if we go in the tank this year again that we do it good enough to get a crack at that DE from So Car is it? He might be worth trading up for even. Oh to have a truly great DE for once in our lifetime in AZ.

A couple of things:

Have you done a mock that doesn't have the Cards taking a LT? ;)

I hope that BPA aligns for a pass rusher.

The color schemes are cool and all but..........I have to highlight the comments to be able to read them. Dark font on dark backgroung is brutal.

Thanks for posting the link.

Hah good call, and you're right. It just so darn easy to match best OT available with AZ.

I hear you on the background coloring though - I'll look into that

LT is a good way to go, but what do you think about going another direction? There are always more options. Other mocks have us going after a RB, hmmm

If Levi Brown plays like a Pro Bowl LT, then sure. Otherwise, next year's LT class will be stacked. Let's not get too comfortable just because we finally drafted a lineman.

Outside of Jadeveon Clowney and Anthony Barr, there's not a whole lot going on at OLB.

As for RB, unless he's the next Adrian Peterson.. no thanks! :D

I think we should sell our soul to move up and get Jadeveon Clowney. I don't care what it costs us, if he has a dominant year as expected. Just think of Bruce Smith and what you would give to have had him for 10 yrs and what it would mean to your team. Out D needs a great DE as much as our O needs a great QB.

At this early junction, if we are picking #5 it means Palmer absolutely sucked and we are without a doubt targeting a QB that high up.

I would bet a lot of money on Marquis Lee going top 5. The dude is the best WR prospect in a long, long time.
