Charlie Heck is joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which allows the team to have some added flexibility along the offensive line. They lost Justin Skule in free agency, and they are looking for a new swing tackle to fill his role.

The Bucs found that when they signed Charlie Heck from the Houston Texans to fill that role.

Charlie Heck arrived at the team facility for his introduction, and he was very quick to throw some memorable praise at one teammate. Heck had a smile on his face talking about his new teammate, Tristan Wirfs. He describes him as “one of those rare freaks that don’t come around often.” That is a fairly accurate description of Wirfs, as he has shown time and again, earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors.

Heck is hoping he gets to see Wirfs get his work done from afar, for intents and purposes, the less he sees of the field, the better, as that means everyone is remaining healthy. After the injury-filled 2024 season, that would be a welcome sight.
