Cards trade down from 8 to 16 with the falcons and pick up a 2nd round pick this year and another 2nd round pick 2021. I would do that in a heartbeart.

Card select
16th - Klavon Chaisson DE LSU - one of my favorite players in the draft, perfect for a 34 olb.
2nd rd, 47th - Neville Gallimore DT Ok: im good with that pick but CB Trevon Diggs was still on the board. In a perfect world I would have tried to trade up for S Grant Delpit who went at 35.
3rd RB - Zac Moss RB - like this pick as well, missed Tee Higgins by 1 pick, could have gone Tyler Biadasz for intertion line depth, or Rashard Lawrence for NT depth.
4th Lucas Niang OT - Raekown Davis was still on the board
4th Robert Windosor DT - Raekown Davis still on the board, cant see him falling this far
6th - Levonta Taylor CB - Solonon Kindley OG still on the board
7th Ben Ellfson TE - Trey Adams OT still on the board

Pretty solid mock, what you guys think?

You only got a second rounder for trading all the way to 16?

Two second round picks is not bad if the Cardinals like the options at #16.

Only getting two 2nds after dropping 8 spots is horrendous.

You guys can’t be serious.

round 1: they passed on two far less riskier players in Kinlaw and Wills. IF such a trade took place, and they walked away with Wills, it would be a home run.

Wills likely wouldn't start. I dont mind taking a OT but am worried that some of the top guys played RT in college. Kinlaw could be a nice fit for us and complete to start against Zac Allen.
But event on a straight up basis I take Chaisson over Kinlaw. but this is Chaisson Plus 2 2nd round picks vs Kinlaw. Seems like a slam dunk to me.

What do you think teams are going to give up to move from 8 to 16, that is a very solid move for the cards, you think we would get a RG3 type haul?

Why not. I like Chaisson a bit better than Calvin Pace. haha

Higgins in round 3 seems wrong also.

Um no its not.

There is about a 40% hit rate on first rounders and a 30% hit rate on 2nd rounders.

Even top 10 first rounders hit rate is below 50%.

Getting 3 chances at starters is great as opposed to one.

Not to mention I don't see much difference from the quality of player between 8 and 16 in this draft.

This would be a great deal for the cards.

depends who’s on the board when we come up.

but if you can get a Brown, Thomas, Wills, Becton, Kinlaw you do it if all the elite talents are gone( Young, Simmons and Okudah)

an extra 2nd next year would be nice and give us more amo in trades. SK might trade that 2nd and Reddick for Aaron Donald :)

I'd do that deal as long as Simmons and Okudah are off the board...if we are talking about trading back to #16 and still having a choice of Chaisson, Kinlaw, Wills, and Jeudy...I think it's a no brainer.

That 2nd rounder could land us a really solid player, and having 2 2nds next year is huge

I like the trade and would do it for two seconds, Not a third. It's going down pretty far. Also if Simmons or Okudah are there, no.

I would take one of the T's first and then follow up with Uche maybe. Depends who else would be there.

Gallimore, I don't know about. He tends to run hot and cold and can completely disappear. I'd want (DL, LB) someone whose motor is always running there.

And Niang likely goes in the 2nd to early 3rd latest. I like him a lot as a prospect.
