Next time I'm in and around the area, I will go wee-wee on it.

I think this stadium will have the same problems that the new Yankee Stadium has. Too expensive, seats that are too pricey, and the realization that front runners only root for the team that is at the front.

I hate the cowboys as much as anyone, but this stadium is going to be bad-ass. They have some features in it that are very unique:

Mobile ticketing and concession purchasing
Personalized content on video boards
wireless tags for children and security
Electronic coupons and personal advertising
HD game video that can be edited and packaged for team analysis immediatly.

Now if the Cowboys can just go winless this season, that would be great!

Not bad. I guess if you are Jerry Jones you can buy a stadium, but not a playoff win.

I hope the same crew that built their practice facility built it, but when it collapses, I hope no one is in it this time.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
That stadium has already killed a construction worker.

Still not the most expensive stadium in the world :) Although, they do have the biggest HD screen in the world...bastards!

How in the world could somebody spend Three times as much money on a stadium as the Cards did for the palace we sit in on Sundays?

Yea, it's a really nice stadium, but fans won't be enjoying the ticket prices that come with it.

And, just because you have the nicest stadium doesn't mean you'll win games. The Cowgirls will be a sub .500 team this year. Wade Phillips will be fired once week 17 is all done with and Cowgirls fans will start asking for a new QB... get ready for some even bigger turmoil in Big-D.

I'm guessing no. My sister called recently to inquire about getting tickets to the Thanksgiving game. (She and a cousin from Jersey, a cousin in grad school at Texas A&M and I did Thanksgiving there two years ago and, despite being in Dallas, er, Irving, and snowing, it was a blast!) She was told ALL tickets were sold out. I told her that there are usually single game seats available (um, right?); but she said the lady said no.

New stadiums tend to bring out more people. Hell, I bought season tickets the year the Cards opened U of P and, at the time, I had ZERO plans of moving out to AZ. Plus, football is bigger than baseball across the nation and definitely in Texas.

Credit where credit is due: it's going to be sweet.

Yeah it is. I plan on seeing a game there for sure.

you know they had an unsual amount of DUI arrests the night of the stadium's first use with a country concert and one of the guys with the Cowboy organization which was reported to have been involved with building of the stadium got in a wreck and was also booked for DUI...sounds about right for the opening of the Dallas Conboy's new stadium :)

...but they do have a very nice new stadium for sure

If it burned down to the ground today I wouldn't be sad.

But, since it won't, I think the Yankee stadium analogy is an accurate prediction. I bet they never recapture what they had at the original.

If I were Tom Clancy I would call my editor and rewrite 'The Sum of All Fears' and have it take place at the New Cowboys Stadium.
