WELCOME! Regardless on what happens the rest of the way, I am HAPPY for Kurt & his family. His story is AMAZING and it always reminds me that IF I keep trying, GOOD things can happen. ...And "Spidey" was almost on-target. I grew up in CT. (The Land of the Giants) but became a Cards' fan in the Summer of 67' when we beat Boston in the World Series. From there it carried over to the Cards in football and the Blues in hockey. Now, my dad grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa. I never followed a college team but started pulling for the Hawkeyes as a way to bond with my dad. Funny thing is I follow them closer now than he does, and I'm always giving him up-dates as to how they're doing. ...And, Man, what a GREAT year for the Cards & Hawks!! Looks like Iowa will be playing New Years' Day and the Cards could fly high in the Play-Offs! After so many years of disappointment, I'm just savoring it all. Anyways, WELCOME. The people on here are AWESOME!! ALOT of passion for their team. Yes! We sometimes disagree BUT...WE KNOW we're on the same-side. It's GREAT being part of this.
