I believe he's asking you for specific names. Look over your list, and see if you can find $8M worth of players that you think would be worth signing.

Your statement that we're keeping our powder dry for June 1 cuts or something flies in the face of what all the beat reporters are saying about the Cards being largely done with free agency and turning their attention to the draft.

I don't believe we are done yet, more or less keeping our powder dry unless and until someone fall to us cheaply.

NBC Sports (Rotoworld) has a complete list of all free agents, and shows who has signed and who has not BY POSITION. You can see that there are more unsigned veterans than there are signed ones, including some very good OL, Pass Rushers, Safeties, and TE's. Each day that passes brings their asking price down closer to our cap money available. We have done well when compared to many teams in managing our Cap this year. That is where cutting Rhodes and Wilson really helped.

Just google 2013 NFL Free Agents, then select NBC Sports Rotoworld for the list that I use. Or any other that you might find more appealing. We still have between about 7-8.5 mil available to spend on either FA's or retooling our best vets during this upcoming season so that we keep them from FA.

uh... you're making the claim we can still sign guys. WHICH guys do you want us to sign and do you actually expect them to get any of them?

WHO? And what will you say if we DON'T sign any of these guys? Again, you're pretty much parroting verbatim what people were saying back in 2003 when K9 and I were getting murdered here on a regular basis for saying we were going to be terrible.

I don't think we let Ohrnberger go without some kind of plan to add a C - OG in free agency (aside from the draft).

K-9 I'll only say that there are 20 names on my list, (two from each of 10 different positions) I will also say that there are more than 20 more available in addition those I have already mentioned. I have already told you how to find them if you are interested. If not, forget about it. Some teams are about to run out of cap money, or already have, and not all of these players will be given normal contracts. We may stand to sign a pretty good one or two for a one year stint, because we may offer more that our competitor can.

How low an opinion do you have of our current roster that you believe that you can replace 40% of the roster with cast-offs that their own teams don't even seem to want?

And I don't have anything good to say about the team.

i don't get it. why won't you give a single name on this list? you say there's a bunch of guys out there... then say you have a list of 20... but you won't give one of them?! this is specifically a question about who YOU think is out there. You made the statement there were guys out there and that we might sign them. i don't understand why you won't just tell us who you're thinking of.

Kool Aid guy here. And this is my take on how we did in FA.
1. Forget the money, I just can't understand the specifics of how much we saved/spent, but do feel we are in vg CAP shape going forward. And before the '13 season starts, we'll cut either Snyder or Colledge, saving more money.
2. Team seems to have a plan for FA and followed that plan. It was obvious that aside of safety and cb, we used FA for depth, and, on paper, signings seemed solid.
3. Other than safety, we'll go into the Draft in better shape than we ended the season. I expect a safety to be selected in the first four rounds.
4. The draft will also we used to upgrade the OL, and hopefully add a pass rusher and a QB (fingers crossed).
5. It SEEMS that we'll have enough CAP money to fill in the blanks, post draft.
6. How we do this year will depend upon our QB play, so we shouldn't get too excited.

Bottom line, while this year might be a tough one, the future is bright (IMO) for the Cardinals.
