This is dumb in my opinion.
There's a ton of evidence that it's difficult to catch outdoors. The vast majority of infections come from prolonged exposure in confined spaces. Homes, cafes, public transport, bars etc.
Soccer is back in most of Europe and has been for 2-3 weeks. They spend 90 minute trying to stay close to each other. Standing around close together for much of the time. Not a single infection so far.
In young, healthy men, even the large ones, the risk is tiny.
Only 0.2% of deaths of been in the 20-40 age range. Only 0.9% of deaths have had no pre existing health conditions.
Combine the low risk of outdoor infection with the incredibly low risk of death for the age and health groups associated with pro ballers and you probably have as much chance of being hit by lightning while catching an 80 yard pass.
