It looks like the Florida Marlins hired the same 8 year old who designed the OKC Thunder logo to do the new Miami Marlins logo.

Don't buy that that is it. They aren't unveiling the official logo until November. It has been 'leaked.' I'll only believe this is it until it is official because it is so awful.

As a sonics fan & a marlins fan I don't really like it

however - i'm starting to think that may be pretty close - aside from the futuristic marlin I really don't completely hate it

I'll reserve judgement though until 11/11 when the logo is confirmed and the whole look is released

I'm definitely sad to see the death of the teal though

for what it's worth most marlins fans are believing this is pretty close to truth and most are digging it

Tonight is the unveil

This came out this morning as a leak .......

Absolutely hate the hat .... glad the letters are more solid with the other colors as a trim feature

The orange is supposedly the home alternative .... bonifacio has a jacket on over presumably the black jersey

The home alternate is the only one that will say "marlins" - the rest will state "miami" .... allegedly

Definitely kind of disappointed with what they have done so far - really am not liking how that logo looks

Oh well, they will open up a gem of a new stadium and have new stadium money to spend - so the team outlook is still more exciting than the re-brand

One of the execs commented how it has really grown on them .... which means that they didn't like it at one point as well

I think that is thrown out in a hope to have the fanbase have some patience - but comes off a little bit different

The hat is seemingly universally hated from that picture .... mixed bag on the jacket & jersey

Pujols, Reyes, and Buehrle will look great in those colors.
