After pulling off the blockbuster trade to land wide receiver DK Metcalf, the Pittsburgh Steelers top need in the 2025 NFL draft became clear. There's no receiver the Steelers could pick in the second round who would match Metcalf so the Steelers gladly gave that pick up.
It also means the Steelers now must address defensive tackle in the first round. Draft Wire's Jeff Risdon has a new two-round mock draft out and he absolutely knocks it out of the park for the Steelers. Risdon has the Steelers landing massive nose tackle Kenneth Grant in the first round to plug up the team's leaky run defense from last season.
Grant is a great mix of old-school power and leverage for a nose and some modern-day athleticism for a man 330 pounds. Pittsburgh released defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi at the start of free agency and so adding in Grant could mark a switch for Keeanu Benton to Ogunjobi's old spot in the starting lineup.
