The Green Bay Packers announced the signing of cornerback Nate Hobbs on Thursday, and with the press release came the reveal of Hobbs' new uniform number. It's an iconic one in Green Bay.

Hobbs, a former Raiders cornerback coming to Green Bay, will wear No. 21 -- previously worn by 2021 first-round pick Eric Stokes and most famously worn by Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Woodson with the Packers between 2006 and 2012.

Only Stokes, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Natrell Jamerson have worn No. 21 for the Packers since Woodson.

Hobbs wore No. 8 at Illinois and No. 39 with the Raiders. In high school, he wore No. 25 and No. 5. It appears he has no number preference.

Others to wear No. 21 in Packers history include Bob Jeter, Craig Newsome, Brent Fullwood and Bhawoh Jue.
