New Phoenix Suns Blog:

Will be updating frequently.

an introduction of yourself and your writing/basketball background wouldn't have hurt.
A first post with a link to your blog and nothing else won't attract much attention. :newbie:

Considering that this forum weights opinions based on the number of posts someone has made, a one line message with just the link doesn't seem very seemly.
Add to that the fact that some of the posters here are retired sports journalists or otherwise professionally associated with basketball
, it takes a little more effort to get an audience elsewhere without putting in work.

good luck with your blogging though.

just went through your blog. good start.
however, I doubt your statement that Sato played for Benetton Treviso. That's the premier club in Italy.

From what I've read, Sato played for Sicc Jesi in Italy and has been picked up by a Spanish team with a name like Winther FCB or something.

I read somewhere that he played for Benetton Treviso division 2 team. Not as classy but it's something.

About Me

Since you wanted to know, here's a little.

I live in Phoenix. I have a Bachelors degree in Electronic Media Production from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University. I have been a Suns fan since I visited AZ when I was little and was obsessed with everything Arizona.

I spend an inordinate amount of time watching the Suns and more time reading about them. I have tried to find a fresh, entertaining Suns blog out there but there are none like other teams have. I decided they definitely need one now. This is my first attempt at blogging but I follow the Suns closely.

Hopefully it becomes a quality Suns fan blog.

There is a surprising lack of Suns blogs, period. The more the merrier, I say. But you do need to link back to this site.

That second Diaw video is pretty amazing. You won't see many other player highlight videos where the player excels in that many areas. Passing, leading the break, finishing around the hoop, dribbling etc. Watch that video if you want to get excited about what Diaw could do next year.

I took a detailed look at the core.

How does everybody feel about this John Lucas and/or Drew Gooden?

How would Gooden work out?

Awesome blog! *bookmarked*

Not that you asked but here it is anyway: I guess I'm new too Arizona, I moved too Tucson last year, moved back east then in January moved back here too Phoenix and fell in love with Arizona, and most notibly the Diamondbacks and the Suns.

It's not too late for innoculations. Then again, being a 30-year Suns fan has been about as painful as a 2-foot needle to the back side. The problem is every three years the Suns do something to give you great hope. I sometimes wonder if it would be easier to deal with if they weren't one of the most winningest teams in the NBA ... maybe it'd be easier to cope living without a championship trophy.

Hell no, we're going to get that championship one day. I hope this season is ours, I hope. I've only seen one season of Phoenix Suns basketball and that series loss too Dallas was heartbreaking. But when we get that championship win....that's going to be priceless. I often compare the Lakers too the Yankees and the Suns too the Red Sox because of three things.

1. The Suns/Lakers rivalry
3. That everyone else in the NBA hates the Lakers except for Laker fans.
2. When we finally get our day we can be the arrogant fans.

If the Suns were terrible it would probably be harder, nobody would respect your team. At least people know and respect the Suns.
