Lot's of new signage going up. Saw M. Bidwill. Man that guy is like a new father showing off his baby. I think he likes standing at the "Bud Party Zone", and surveying his kingdom.:notworthy

Man, there are alot of plants going in around the place. And they started laying out the grid for the wall of fans.

Actually, you'd be surprised at how much changes day to day. It's just hard to capture it in pictures.

Plus the east side has been turned over and just finishing touches are going in. The west side should be handed over soon, and then just spruce it up a bit. If I remember correctly, they want everyone out on 8/4 at 5pm.

BTW though, Hunt Construction will probably be there for the next 6 months doing touch up jobs etc.

Great pics, as always.

One question - we've been debating this on the azcardinals.com board -but isn't the Wall of Fans area and the 60-foot logo in the north end (outside) two different things? I thought the Wall of Fans was supposed to be inside the atrium area in the north entrance, with the large logo on the outside of the pedestrian ramp (what you posted here).

Just wondering.

Yes, they are 2 different things. The framing for the wall of fans is just being put up, while the logo, as you can see, is almost complete. When you use the escalators on the north side you will be facing the inside of the logo "mural". While when you walk into gate 2, you will be able to look up and see the wall of fans. Just next to the team shop, (AZ ZONE).

I suppose I should get a shot of that whole layout.

ds512az,

how many people working on the stadium are excited about going to games there? And are they new fans?

Just curious because it has to be fun for the guys/gals working there and get stoked about the up coming season.

Thanks for those pics!!

To tell you the truth, what I do there is completely different from the everyday worker.

I can tell you that alot of people who were working there have done stadiums all over the world, and to them it's another job. The worker "bees" all seem to have come to the conclusion that, "This is another day on the job and my bills are paid.", if you know what I mean. It's like being a brain surgeon, and saying, "Oh I get to do another labotomy today..." (Just kidding.)

When some of the folks see me taking pictures, they always want to get in them though. Just to be part of history. After a while, it gets to be like just another day. even though evryone working on this project is doing something that in the real world, engineers, designers, builders, etc, all claim to be one of the 10 best structures in the world.

Me personnaly. I don't forget. Which is why I bug you all with the same pictures over and over. Cuz this thing is it. This is something that the entire valley needs to be proud of. AND WE ARE GONNA LOVE IT!!!!

ds, I've said it many times before, but let me say it again, thanks so much for the pics! How lucky are the visitors of this message board to have an insider taking regular pictures for us to see? The official stadium site doesn't give us this!

BTW, I loved this pic:

So, ds, you said that the other people do different types of jobs than you. Out of curiousity, what do you do there?

And again, thanks! Keep them coming!

I work for a "service provider", so I'm not out there every day hammering, drilling, painting, whatever. Still pretty cool to go out there and see how it changes.
