New Suns Jerseys for 2023-24 Season

I think the Suns did a nice job of blending the old with the new.

Yeah… the more I look at that, the weirder it gets.

These look like an unfinished concept from 2016. I’m generally ok with most jerseys but these… I’m not sure I can get on board with them. Going to get a Beal jersey this year, will just have to wait to see what the city ones look like.

I imagine they looked at it with an orange ball and didn't like how lopsided it makes the jersey look. I think going white makes it a little cleaner. I did a quick edit just to show the orange ball and maybe I'm used to the new design already but I prefer it white.

Both definitely an improvement, but i'm not on board with the white jerseys.

The purple ones look pretty good with an orange ball.

They wanted something that had elements of the original sunburst without it looking too similar. The white was due to trying to give it a more modern and less cartoony look. Here is the senior director of marketing explaining the ideas behind the jersey:

I don't have a problem with white in general. The Suns jerseys when they played Boston in the Finals were white. It's all in the details.

The only thing I can think of, is the last jerseys like this the orange ball was definitely a major aspect of that design. If what he says is true, that the NBA doesn't want just the same design as previous, maybe the orange was too close to the former jerseys? In general I don't like the white basketball. It's too abstract. I like the look of the orange basketball, too.

The white is too white it needs to be bone also a white ball looks ridiculous on a jersey. Never underestimate professional designers to either screw something up or totally underwhelm when doing uniforms.

The white looks great on Beal but with how Booker is wearing a white shirt under it, I can see the too white look you mention.

I think they're a huge improvement and I think that the ball looks better white than orange... or at least than the orange mock ups I've seen.
