Sorry I didn't mean you are a fear monger. I meant that Cavuto always asks negative questions like:

So your "Will this Suns team be the worst 3 point shooting team out of the last 3 years?" seemed very Cavuto like. You could have just asked "How good do you think the Suns 3 point shooting will be this year", but instead you put it in a negative connotation.

It makes your question seem like you already have your answer.

Well I piggybacked on your comment and did mean that he was a fear monger. Negative questions can also be loaded questions, which bring upon presupposed answers laced with fear or anxiety.

As the beloved stern says, thats like asking if i still beat my wife.

I see. I've never seen or read about Cavuto so I didn't know what reference point u were coming from. Now I see.

Okay, now that I get the joke. Let's get back to the serious issue:

Are Suns going to be doomed this year?

(that was a joke).

Yes, one of the biggest problems last year with that "5th person" in the lineup.

Usually it was James Jones clanking up bricks, sometimes Jalen Rose, and even Jumaine Jones got in there for about 10 games or so with decent playing time and no success.

Suns now have 7 legit players with Banks/Skinner/Tucker/Strawberry as the 8th and 9th guy.

Bingo !

that is all fine and dandy but i fear that it takes away from his ability to create plays and distribute, as i said. if his defender jams him at the 3-point line, he doesnt see the court as well and has more pressure on him to pass the ball away without setting up a play. nash is just nash which is why he is able to work around people coming out to guard him, but a lot of teams would rather he knocks down shots rather than find a way to get his team mates involved so that may also contribute

has hill ever had to worry about his 3's, no. He doesn't need to ask it to his arsenal. That is not why the suns picked Hill up. Im with arwillian on this.

After seven preseason games, Hill is doing well shooting the three but is down the list in terms of attempts:

Bell 16 of 34 for 47.1%
Barbosa 14 of 32 for 43.8% (6 games)
Banks 10 of 23 for 43.5%
Marion 8 of 19 for 42.1%
Nash 7 of 11 for 63.6%
Hill 6 of 13 for 46.2%
Strawberry 7 of 19 for 36.8% (last year James Jones shot 37.8%)

Tucker at 4 of 12 is the only player with double digit attempts to do badly for three.

The Suns have a team wide 79 of 178 for 44.4% - an averaged of 25.4 attempts per game. At this pace, the Suns would take 2085 attempts for the season, which would be 120 more than last year.
