Don't have the insider package to look at the 7 round mocks (I'll provide the link for anyone that does) but they have us taking Pac man Jones @ 8.

8. Cardinals Adam Jones* CB West Virginia

The Cardinals might be reeling here as they plan to take one of the top three backs. Their next greatest need is cornerback. Jones lacks great size (5-9 5/8) but is a big-time playmaker with a confident, winning attitude. He tends to gamble, but his risky decisions usually pay off. Jones would need to show more discipline to function in the aggressive defense of Clancy Pendergast.

Interesting that they have the Bears taking Benson ... I don't see it happening but its interesting nonetheless

Yeah I was thinking the same thing considering he's being taken ahead of Cadillac Williams. I would love to see Pac-Man in a Cards jersey.

I was really impressed with pac-man in college, but in my opinion, aside from the QB's he is the biggest "bust" risk of the top 15 prospects. Rolle and Rogers seem like better NFL prospects at this point at CB.

I take that...although I think I would pick Rolle and Rogers first. I would definitely take the next two picks. I didn't think they would be there though...especially Arrington in the third.

Arrington in the 3rd round is unrealistic. I would also prefer Carlos Roger to Pac-Man. Roger is 6'1, runs faster and can play the run. Not to mention he plays big in big games. Think Chris McAllister

I think I agree. I don't like the 'Canes, but I trust their abaility to develop NFL-ready talent.

Or Ed Reed,Ray Lewis,Sean Taylor you're going to find alot more hits than misses. Rumph is changing positions and may flourish meanwhile, i'd take Buchanon in a second.

Drafting one of these DB's with our #1 is a major gamble.

The Pac-Man may have been good at W Va, but I just think he's too small to be a #8 pick. If we take a CB, I'd rather take Antrel Rolle under this scenario. However, under Dennis' BPA policy, I see Mike Williams as a real possibility! That is, of course, if the first seven go as the War Room now predicts.

I dont think we need another possession type receiver, we need a burner.
