Happy New year to you Sissy. Thanks for brightening up the board!

I resolve not to spend near so much time on the P&R forum. The whole Trump thing
got me wound up like a 9 day clock. I need a break from news, period.

No, resolutions fail because they not are done out of desire or true motivation. It baffles me that people have to wait until a certain day of the year to make changes for the positive in their lives. It you need that positive change, why wait and not do it now?

Sometimes it takes a lot of self loathing to change what we hate in ourselves. We have a way of rationalizing our lameness. Happy new year!

My mom always said people should make changes, not new years resolutions. Why only try to improve yourself one time a year. I think if you are waiting for a certain day to start something (ie: first of the year, month or week) then you are really just stalling.

That being said I decided to start going to the gym. And I did. I started last Monday and went 3 days last week.....and wrecked my wife's car.

Thanks, that was indeed a typo

Looks like you didn't make a resolution to being a better person.

Or maybe you did and it lasted all of 34 minutes, thus proving my point.

For 2017 I have resolved to stop giving tittie-twisters to people when I first meet them. Women have a tendency to slap me, and men keep call me gay. So I am laying my infamous tittie-twisters to rest. 2017 will instead become the "Pull my finger" year.
