Flipped over to Yankee/RedSox game.

Must be 5,000 fans, at best still there in the 4th inning...

So? All the blowhard New Yorkers ever say out here is how horrid of fans we are, and how great of die-hard fans they are.

Die-hard fans wouldn't leave a game against their biggest rival :lmao:

Sure...

It's May 4th... The game started almost 2 hours late. I spoke with a buddy of mine who is at the game and he said they were "about to leave" as they weren't sure the game would be played at all.

It would be interesting to see what the paid attendance was as there have been many reports that the Yankees overpriced their seats - and with the current recession, attendance has been down...

But really - are you seriously questioning the metal of Yankee fans?? You clearly know not of what you speak...

;)

Rainy, wet, late and on a weekday. I can excuse a New Yorker for this.

The other day I see an SUV rolling down the road. It had three stickers on the rear window - Steelers, Lakers & Yankees. Do people even realize how ridiculous that they look?

Probably not - they think they are cool.

As 82 said, NY attendance is down this year because they overpriced their seats. Nice call Hank Steinbrenner!

I cracked up when they panned through the crowd and they were acting crazy and one of the commentators said "looks like they put the 2 hour delay to good use."

Go Sox!

Im sure they are easy to remove decals so when the teams start faulterting, they can easily put up the sticker of the next big thing.

The worst part is they would have actually had some sort of asinine reasoning behind it that made sense in their head.

Bandwagoners suck.

Heard on the radio that Ken Singleton (The color announcer for the Yankees) was "spoken to" by Yankees managment about bringing to light the lack of attendence at the stadium.

Apparently there are 92 seats behind home plate and only 40 of them were taken during the last game against the Red Sox.

I am enjoying this immensely

Are you sure that SUV wasn't a bandwagon?
