The New York Giants will reportedly meet with Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter after the Nittany Lions' pro day on Friday.
Carter was not scheduled to work out at the pro day due to his shoulder injury, but that won't keep him from being a Top 5 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. With the Giants holding the third overall selection, it is only fitting they perform their due diligence on Carter.
Carter can go anywhere in the first hour of the draft. The Tennessee Titans can take him with the first overall pick, but they are likely to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward after Ward's stellar pro day performance last week.
Cleveland is a more likely landing spot for Carter and the Browns have shown an exceptional interest in him. Either way, the Giants are in line for a possible generational player with the third pick whether it be Ward, Carter or the Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter, the two-way threat from Colorado.

Penn State DE/LB Abdul Carter will meet with the Giants privately in State College today, after the Nittany Lions’ Pro Day workout. Carter isn’t working out, as he continues to rehab his shoulder.
Carter had dinner with the Browns brass last night. NY is his only meeting today.
