The New York Jets added seven players to their franchise in the 2025 NFL draft this past weekend.
They boosted their talent and depth on both sides of the ball. Their first two picks, offensive tackle Armand Membou (pick 7) and tight end Mason Taylor (pick 42), both have a path to seeing lots of playing time right away on offense.
Meanwhile, they also added defensive pieces that should provide depth and maybe significant roles in cornerback Azareye'h Thomas (pick 73) and safety Malachi Moore (pick 130).
They also added wide receiver Arian Smith (pick 110) who possesses incredible speed.
The Jets provided a solid draft class at a crucial time of a transition phase to a new general manager (Darren Mougey) and head coach (Aaron Glenn), and the two put their fingerprints on the team with their first draft.
