Maybe the coaching staff should watch the film of the SD and NE game and watch how NE goes down the field with ease. The Cardinals should just be a Passing Team, just run occationally. It is easier for the OL to concentrate on the 1 aspect of the game, same when Warner was here. Jst become a throwing team, as the Patriots are.

I agree as someone posted, I prefer a new OLC, the game has passed Grimm, no player has grown under his coaching.

Couldn't disagree more -- we were dominating when Beanie was running well and the defense didn't know if we would run or pass when we went with 4 wide and Beanie in the backfield.

I think we need to run MORE. It establishes a balanced offense and helps not have huge disparities in time of possession that we saw today. And would anyone really be that upset if we got the running game going and controlled the clock so the defense was on the field less?!

The OL for the Pats is rock solid, man. They can block for days. Our guys can't block for more than a read. Brady can scan his reads, go BACK to them, then back again and throw.

We can't do that with this OL. Not gonna happen. Warner was a master at releasing into the face of pressure - that isn't common.

Our problem isn't offense, it's stopping the other team from gaining 400-500 yards on defense. Also, throw in a rash of pre-snap penalties...it is frustrating.

yeah...because it aint like we got 93 yards on 14 carries or anything like that.....cause IF we HAD a back averaging almost 7 yds a carry,...I would think we should have run him 25 times.......... but our run game is anemic,.....so lets just pass all day long, that way the defense does not have to bother trying to figure out what we will do.

If our run game is so great why can't the Cards ever put together a clock killing drive in the 4th quarter?

Bad play calling?

Like what type of plays for instance?

Anyway I don't believe the Cards can just line up and run the football. They have to get opponents looking for the pass to make the run work.

And that's why they can't run the clock in the 4th quarter. They just don't have the personnel to line up and bang out 4.5 yards a pop and sustain a 3 minute drive.

These types of plays, for instance:

Arizona Cardinals at 5:17ARIWAS
1st and 10 at ARI 20 C.Wells right guard to ARZ 23 for 3 yards (R.McIntosh).
2nd and 7 at ARI 23(Shotgun) K.Kolb pass incomplete short right to E.Doucet.
Penalty on ARZ-T.Heap, Illegal Motion, declined.
3rd and 7 at ARI 23(Shotgun) K.Kolb pass incomplete short right to E.Doucet (R.Kerrigan).
4th and 7 at ARI 23D.Zastudil punts 41 yards to WAS 36, Center-M.Leach, downed by ARZ. WAS-D.Gomes was injured during the play.

DRIVE TOTALS: ARI 21, WSH 19, 3 plays, 3 yards, 0:49 elapsed

thanks. The internet feed cut out on me halfway through the 4th. What happened on the pass to Doucet?

But again they have to get 4-5 on first down or they can't really sustain a drive without throwing.
