The latest news was that Sofoklis measured in at 6'10 (in shoes) which is about the same as Amare.
It looks like he has a wide body and since he only turn 18 right before the draft there is a good chance he can grow at least 1 inch.
I'd be much happier if we drafted a 6'10 guy worth it and play 2 big forwards and a small forward than a scrub center who sits on the bench and Shawn Marion plays PF with Amare at C.
Against how many teams in this league is a 6'10-6'11 strong PF not able to guard their center?
